The former UBS building at Aeschenplatz 6, next to the "Hammering Man", once only housed offices. By 2030, around 200 apartments, cafés and restaurants, commercial and leisure facilities and a variety of other attractive offers for the neighborhood and the entire city will be created. It is already open for interim use today.

The conversion of the centrally located office building will bring new life to Aeschenplatz and enhance it. The site will be opened up, planted with new trees and new pathways will be created for the neighborhood. 70% of the building area is intended for residential use, 30% for commercial and office use.

As part of its interim use, Aeschenplatz 6 has become a creative workspace for over 90 tenants from a wide range of industries since 2022, with fully furnished offices and communal areas.
